Terms of use

Draft of October 7, 2026 · applies to alfalfa.trade, app.alfalfa.trade and the alfalfa app

In one paragraph. alfalfa is a chat room with a trading terminal in it. Callers run rooms and make calls; members pay a room's door to read them and may buy or sell coins from the room. Calls are opinions, not advice, and most coins that run, fall. Your wallet is yours: alfalfa never holds your keys or your money, and every transaction is one you see and sign. Dues are paid on the chain and are not refunded. The house may remove rooms and members that break these terms. You must be 18 or older.

1. Who we are, and how to reach us

alfalfa is operated by [entity name, place of organisation] ("alfalfa", "the house", "we"). Questions, complaints, abuse reports and requests about your data go to support@alfalfa.trade. By using alfalfa you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy.

2. What alfalfa is

3. Your wallet and your keys

Your wallet is made on your device and alfalfa never sees it. On the web and in the alfalfa app on a phone without a Seed Vault, it is twelve standard (BIP39) words made on your device and kept there (sealed in your browser's storage for app.alfalfa.trade, or in your phone's secure storage); you can export them, or the private key they make, from settings, and restore a wallet from them. On a Seeker, it is a trading wallet in the Seed Vault, whose words the Seed Vault shows only to you. alfalfa does not custody funds, cannot move your money, and cannot recover words or keys you lose. A wallet whose words you have not written down is lost with the device or the browser's data (Safari can clear a site's data after about a week without a visit). Keep in it only what you mean to spend.

4. Not advice. Real risk.

Nothing on alfalfa — a call, a card, a chart, the runners room, a record, a line from the house — is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, an offer or a solicitation. Callers are independent people whose calls are their own. Most memecoins go to zero. Coins named in rooms are often minutes old, thinly traded and can be withdrawn, frozen or manipulated by their creators. A record of past calls says nothing about future ones. You alone decide what to buy, sell or hold, and you alone bear the result.

5. Callers

If you create a room you agree that:

6. Members

7. What you may not do

Anything illegal where you are or where alfalfa is operated; market manipulation, pump-and-dump schemes, wash trading, front-running, or coordinating any of these; fraud or impersonation; harassment, threats, or hate; sexual content involving minors (reported to the authorities when we know of it); anything that infringes others' rights; spamming rooms or the room list; attacking, probing or overloading alfalfa's services; using alfalfa if you are, or act for, a person or place subject to sanctions.

8. Moderation and termination

Callers keep order in their rooms. The house may remove a room from the list, remove a member or a room, refuse a transaction, or block an address or a region, with or without notice, when these terms are broken or the law requires it. Memberships and rooms live on the chain and are not deleted by alfalfa; what the house controls is its own relay, its lists and its services. Report abuse to support@alfalfa.trade.

9. Where alfalfa is available

alfalfa is not available to people in, or ordinarily resident in, countries or regions subject to comprehensive sanctions, or anywhere its use would be unlawful. [The lawyer confirms the list and any further restrictions.] You are responsible for the laws that apply to you.

10. The service, as is

alfalfa is provided as is and as available, without warranty of any kind. It is not audited. The relay, the price service, the terminal and third-party services (Solana, Jupiter, DexScreener, Cloudflare, Expo) may be slow, wrong or down; prices alfalfa records are what public market data said at the time. Software has bugs. To the fullest extent the law allows, alfalfa is not liable for any loss arising from using it — including lost funds, missed trades, wrong prices, a key you lost, a coin that went to zero, or a caller who was wrong — and in any case its liability is limited to the fees you paid the house in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Your responsibility to us

You will indemnify alfalfa against claims arising from your rooms, your calls, your trades or your breach of these terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

[The lawyer fills in: governing law, venue, arbitration and class-action waiver, and any consumer-law carve-outs.]

13. Changes

We may change these terms. The date at the top is the current version; continued use after a change is acceptance of it. Material changes are announced in the app.
